We flew direct from Boston to liberia, Costa rica, on jetblue. What a pleasure of an airline. And for only $157 one way, super cheap it seems to me. On arrival we found the shuttle to Alamo rental car, also quite cheap by Costa rica standards. Then we drove to playa guiones, renowned for its beginner and intermediate surfing on a beach break. Followed all the sings to Nicola then nosara but missed a few and ended up taking a roundabout way, no problem though, all enjoyable and the kiddos were great.
Had lunch at a cool spot, random roadside restaurant with a heck of a mountain jungle view.
Then wound our way around and around the dirt bumpy roads of playa guiones to finally find casa rebecca. Quite mediocre we decided but pretty solid location and we are right by the pool.
Upcoming days: surfing swimming g shaving my head eating sleeping 🙂
